As many of you know we lost our good friend Julio this year.  Julio didn’t just run shuttles for us.  He fixed boat trailers, flat tires, bad bearings, and you name it.  Every day after a trip while we were cleaning out our boats Julio would come riding up on his mower, 4-wheeler, or Harley Davidson to ask how we did and tell us a few stories about something crazy he did back when he was young.  He can never be replaced, but one of his best friends has offered to try and fill his shoes.

Jimmy Glover spoke with us and has offered to take over for the Cumberland river shuttle service.  I’ve known Jimmy since I was in elementary school.  He worked with my father for 16 years.  He’s a good man and we are proud to be working with him.

The cabin on the Cumberland is still available for rent.  It has a beautiful view of the river from a private ramp, AC, queen bed, sleeper sofa, kitchen, fridge, full bath, coffee pot, ceiling fans, etc. You can rent it for $60 per night as long as you tell them Brandon or Mike sent you. It’s located 8 miles downstream of Wolf Creek Dam and is a perfect full day float from the ramp on the property to Winfrey’s Ferry boat ramp. This cabin has become a favorite place for us as we wind down after a day on the river. We hope you enjoy it as much as we have.
